★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pictures of the food on Google look great and it is in a nice spot with seating in a small park opposite the Tavern. To be fair, we can't comment on the shop, which looked full of Tuscan specialities, but we certainly wouldn't advise eating a light lunch here. We had two different Bruschetta and both were poor - basically a small bread roll cut in half with little topping. Unfortunately the day before we'd been in Echoes in San Gimigniano where we paid exactly the same price for something double the size and three times as tasty. I appreciate Bruschetta is meant to be simple food, but it can be done so much better than this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Like other reviews said: a completely overwhelmed waiter cannot keep up. The first restaurant we found in Italy that is unable to prepare pasta.
We called ahead and were assigned a table in the garden. When arriving, the waiter, panicking, told us there was no more space and had a vague story about the telephone number being for the owner, not the restaurant itself, and that apparently the owner had not forwarded the reservation.
After waiting endlessly and watching other guests leave out of frustration, we were informed there was no more lasagne, and that it would be impossible to just prepare a plain pasta (there are at least 3 kinds of pasta on the menu).
For us, a first in Italy! We decided to leave (also) and absolutely do NOT recommend this place.
