Fantastically quiet winery with wine cellar and production, Enoteca and wine tastings. My personal recommendation is the Palmares Grillo Spumante and the Zibibbo. We also stayed here great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Esperienza negativa..in visita giovedì scorso a mazara insieme ad una coppia di amici era nostra intenzione acquistare dei vini in una cantina con le indicazioni forniteci individuata in quella di gorgo tondi che su internet indicava quale orario di apertura al pubblico pomeridiano le 14.30..ivi giunti ci hanno detto che occorreva prendere un appuntamento per la visita e dietro nostra insistenza venendo da Catania ci hanno concesso di entrare solo per acquistare del vino..abbiamo quindi chiesto di poter effettuare degli assaggi ma ci è stato rifiutato con tono quasi infastidito.....
Negative experience .. visiting last Thursday in Mazara together with a couple of friends it was our intention to buy wines in a cellar with the information provided, identified in that of gorgo tondi which on the internet indicated which opening time to the public in the afternoon was 2.30 pm .. arrived there they told us that it was necessary to make an appointment for the visit and at our insistence coming from Catania they allowed us to enter only to buy wine .. we then asked to be able to taste but we were refused with an almost annoyed tone. ....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Su internet danno la cantina aperta il sabato ma se vai realmente è tutto chiuso e non rispondono neanche al telefono. Ci troviamo fuori dalla tenuta in più mezzi che sicuramente hanno verificato in internet. Chiediamo a dei contadini che ci confermano che il sabato è chiuso. Siete pregati di aggiornare i dati e non fare perdere tempo e km alle persone. Grazie!
On the internet they give the cellar open on Saturdays but if you really go it's all closed and they don't even answer the phone. We find ourselves out of the estate in multiple mediums that surely have verified on the internet. We ask farmers to confirm that Saturdays are closed. Please update your data and do not waste time and miles for people. Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic winery with people that believe in what they do. You can see the connection they have with the nature around them and the extent they go to embrace and express it. Gorghi Tondi is definitely worth taking the time to go and visit. I highly recommend a tour of the winery and doing a tasting. It is very informative and only increases your appreciation for the wines they create and how they do so.

It was short but very informative.
We also had the pleasure of tasting various wines from their production line.
