Ho scelto questa agenzia in quanto a me comoda, nel mese di ottobre per affittare un appartamento e sono subito stato bene accolto dal sig. Fabio e dalla sua collaboratrice Alice. I would caution anyone who is not Italian against using this agency. Last June I signed a contract for a place on Parco Vigano. Their agent told me their commission was based on the rental price, and they insisted I pay them before we sign the contract. After I paid them, they lowered the rental price and increased the cost of the spese, so I was still paying the same monthly amount, but Tempocasa increased their own commission artificially. Then after signing, they did not register my contract, nor did they give me a copy of my contract. It took me 6 months of badgering to finally get a copy from the landlady. When we first viewed the apartment, it was quite dirty, blinds were broken, the kitchen was coated in oil (she told us there were far-East Asians living there who cooked with a lot of oil) etc. Fabbio assure us that this landlady had a very good reputation, that the place was quiet, and that she would clean it, paint it, and fix it up nicely before we moved in. We were placing a lot of trust in him, because taking advantage of foreigners is uncommon in the Milan real estate business. None of that happened though. In the end, we had to send a disdetta after six months, saying we would leave in six months (that was in the contract), because the place was unlivable. The landlady pulled out the doors, and didn't put all of them back. Of the ones she replaced, only one of six could even close. This meant we got the full noise of the neighbors everywhere in the house. When we were finally able to leave, we waited for the landlady to come inspect the apartment and return our deposit to us. She sent us a text saying she was in the mountains and wouldn't come. Some time later, Tempocasa called to ask if we had painted the walls as required by our contract (the walls had not been painted before our arrival and they were disgusting; which is why I painted the entire living room myself). We returned to the apartment to find that the landlady had sent workers who trashed the place. Dishes had been pulled out of cabinets, the table the TV was on was gone and the TV was on the floor, the closets had all been emptied, and a note claiming the place was under professional surveillance had been slid into the door. At this point, I understood that the landlady would not be returning our deposit, and that Tempocasa had been in on the ripoff from the start. Even the address of the proprietaria in the contract, in Israel, was fake. We send registered mail there for the disdetta, and it was returned as 'not-at-this-address'. It was, in fact, commercial property. Again, if you are not Italian, be very careful about working with Tempocasa.
