Mi piacerebbe che il tempio di Flora venisse aperto al culto, perché ancora oggi c'è gente che crede negli dèi romani. Non a caso, esistono varie associazioni che organizzano eventi in onore di divinità dell'antica Roma. I like the temple, but it is abandoned; this is evident from the presence of graffiti and a wooden wall. La sua tipologia, con pronao e facciata neoclassici, nasconde sul retro un corpo absidato, che riprende il motivo del colonnato, affacciato su un sottostante invaso ad anfiteatro con al centro una fontana in ghisa del tardo Ottocento, frutto di un rimaneggiamento in chiave romantica del Tempio. Mi auguro che presto sia restaurato, poiché giace, ahimè, in pessime condizioni. Among the furnishings of the park, the eighteenth-century coffee-house in the Pallavicini casino, better known as the Temple of Flora, stands out for its architectural quality. Its typology, with a neoclassical pronaos and façade, hides an apsidal body on the back, which takes up the motif of the colonnade, overlooking an underlying amphitheater basin with a late nineteenth-century cast iron fountain in the center, the result of a reworking in a romantic key of the Temple. I hope it will be restored soon, as it lies, alas, in very bad condition.
