★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L'ex cinema "Smeraldo" inaugurato nel 1947 ed oggi Teatro Torresino, fu restaurato, assumendo in sostanza le attuali sembianze, nel 1993.
Sono 200 i posti a sedere disponibili per proiezioni d'essai e spettacoli teatro/musicali, rimane una delle poche sale attive in città, grazie soprattutto alla collocazione patronale che ne conserva l'utilizzo.
Piacevoli piece e concerti di vario genere per tutti i gusti, fanno da contorno a uno degli ultimi baluardi della cultura, troppo spesso relegata a spettacolo per pochi e confusa con i reality show televisivi.
Si spera nella piena ripresa delle programmazioni al termine di questo "strano" periodo pandemico.
The former "Smeraldo" cinema inaugurated in 1947 and today the Torresino Theater, was restored, essentially assuming its current appearance, in 1993.
There are 200 seats available for arthouse projections and theater / musical performances, it remains one of the few active rooms in the city, thanks above all to the patronal location that preserves its use.
Pleasant plays and concerts of various kinds for all tastes, surround one of the last bastions of culture, too often relegated to a show for the few and confused with reality TV shows.
Hopefully the full resumption of programming at the end of this "strange" pandemic period.
