Organizzano visite guidate per turisti nelle sale di questo magnifico edificio e offrono stagioni emozionanti di rappresentazioni liriche e di prosa. Gli amanti della cultura e delle cose belle non resteranno insoddisfatti
Guys, I walk around the theaters of the Marche by trade and I have never come across a more beautiful theater than this! They organize guided tours for tourists in the halls of this magnificent building and offer exciting seasons of opera and prose performances. Lovers of culture and beautiful things will not be dissatisfied

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questo elegante edificio (di proprietà del Comune dal 1929) si trova su uno dei lati della centralissima Piazza della Repubblica; è uno dei teatri più antichi delle Marche e rappresenta uno dei maggiori "templi" della Lirica italiana.
Fino al 1883 si chiamava "Teatro della Concordia", poi ha preso la denominazione di "Giovanni Battista Pergolesi", in omaggio al geniale compositore, nato a Jesi nel 1710 e che che giunse alla fama a Napoli.
Sulla facciata attira l'attenzione un fascione che sovrasta il cornicione e che reca al centro l'orologio in pietra tenuto da due Aquile federiciane e due cornucopie.
Davanti al teatro si può ammirare un obelisco, che in precedenza era collocato in piazza Federico II.
In uno slargo della vicina via Pergolesi una lapide segnala il luogo in cui sorgeva la casa natale del compositore.
This elegant building (owned by the Municipality since 1929) is located on one side of the central Piazza della Repubblica; it is one of the oldest theaters in the Marche and represents one of the major "temples" of Italian opera.
Until 1883 it was called "Teatro della Concordia", then it took the name of "Giovanni Battista Pergolesi", in homage to the brilliant composer, born in Jesi in 1710 and who achieved fame in Naples.
On the façade, the attention is drawn to a fascia overhanging the cornice and bearing the stone clock held by two Federician Eagles and two cornucopias in the center.
In front of the theater you can admire an obelisk, which was previously located in Piazza Federico II.
In a widening of the nearby via Pergolesi a plaque indicates the place where the composer's birthplace stood.
