Viene utilizzato per lo piu da luglio a settembre con rassegne amatoriali e saggi di danza, anche se non mancano di tanto in tanto appuntamenti di maggior spessore. Il posto è decisamente interessante, e potrebbe essere proiettato, con un maggior investimento economico, tra i piu suggestivi delle Sicilia. Di fatto non riesce a decollare per l'indifferenza del pubblico locale, assai restio a partecipare ad eventi che richiedono un certo costo, anche modesto. Abitudine ereditata da un passato che offriva tutto senza nulla pretendere. Raramente si registra il tutto esaurito. È fornito di un palco molto grande, camerini e servizi , biglietteria, punto luce per grandi eventi, può ospitare anche concerti e spettacoli musicali.
