★ ★ ★ ★ ★ on our final night in italy, we stayed at a motel close to the airport for our flight home the following morning. we googled nearby restaurants. the owner of the place saw us (while driving by) wandering looking for the restaurant and gave us friendly directions to the place. google map location wasn't precise.
local, family atmosphere and not at all trendy or "tourist-y" - three generations of the owner's family were there, in fact. :D highly, highly recommend the sausage and mushroom pizza.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I walked over from my hotel during the evening my last night before flying out of FCO. Do so at your own risk but I felt safe walking through the hood. You will see some recreational soccer fields and know you are in the right area. Pizza is good but I also had a few different appetizers I liked, one of those being mushrooms. The server was comfortable with me ordering in English so that is another plus. Check it out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent two weeks in Italy traveling from North To South and this was some of the best food we had the entire time. Authentic, no frills dishes. Hidden away in a soccer field complex. Your in the right place if you think your just in the parking lot for the soccer club house. Great Bruschetta, pizza etc. Highly Recommend. We bought two pizzas to take with us we were so impressed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here last night. Menu, which was given to us, only in Italian language. There was one waitress who was capable to speak in English, but not assisted at all. After, around, 10 minutes she came by and asked if we have chosen something. After telling her "still trying to understand what is what" - her answer was "oh, okay" and she went to another table, instead of assisting... "Good" service... I do not recommend this place, there is better one just around the corner! ?
