★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sono andato con moglie,attraversando la citta, incuriosito dal punteggio alto per un ristorante siciliano. Le attese non sono state tutte positivamente risolte. Infatti ad un antipasto delizioso per fattura, sapore e presentazione hanno fatto seguito un primo buono, ma non troppo ed un secondo a base di baccalà salato, al limite della commestibile. I dolci pagavano una ricotta poco saporita. Lista dèi vini essenziale ma ben pensata. Servizio un po troppo invadente. Ma bene o male è pur sempre una taverna anche se i prezzi sono da ristorante.
I went with his wife, crossing the city, intrigued by the high score for a Sicilian restaurant. The expectations were not all positively resolved. In fact, an appetizer that is delicious in terms of workmanship, flavor and presentation was followed by a good first course, but not too much, and a second course based on salted cod, bordering on edible. The desserts paid for a not very tasty ricotta. Basic but well thought out wine list. A little too intrusive service. But for good or bad it is still a tavern even if the prices are for restaurants.

Del personale si sposano all perfezione con un menù molto interessante ed un ambiente curato e confortevole.
Ci siamo fatti guidare dalla proprietaria nella scelta del vino, dei dolci e non siamo rimasti delusi.
Pesce freschissimo cucinato con cura e rispetto delle materie prime.
Il mio primo piatto con Gamberi di Mazzara del Vallo e aglio nero veramente spettacolare.
Non è un locale economico ma neanche caro data la qualità proposta.
In una parola: provatelo, soprattutto se siete siciliani!!

The staff marry perfectly with a very interesting menu and a refined and comfortable environment.
We let the owner guide us in the choice of wine, desserts and we were not disappointed.
Fresh fish cooked with care and respect for raw materials.
My first course with Mazzara del Vallo prawns and truly spectacular black garlic.
It is not a cheap place but neither is it expensive given the quality offered.
In a word: try it, especially if you are Sicilian !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ if it was there a six star rating I would be tempted to use it. probably one of the best Sicilian trattorias in Rome. I come twice a week minimum due to work. fresh ingredients, excellent technique from chef, both for lunch and dinner. The service is friendly and fast. Not much to improve apart from adding some more vegetable side dishes on the menu. Keep up the good work. after the recent renovation a gourmet italian flair added. Prices still reasonable. If you r in rome u have to visit for sure.
