Cibo niente di che, prezzo non giustificato. il mio compagno ha preso il ragù all’anatra che è risultato stracotto e ci siamo chiesti se fosse anatra per davvero. they put us at a table in the corner of the restaurant with little view despite having other tables available. kind service but lost on the smallest details. atrocious value for money. Food nothing special, price not justified. my partner had the duck sauce which was overcooked and we wondered if it was really duck.

Si trova dentro un borgo sperduto, quindi la maggioranza dei clienti sono clienti dell'Hotel del borgo. Un menu piuttosto ristretto, piatti che puntano più agli occhi che al palato, prezzi alti... non possono che allontanare i clienti del borgo stesso, che soprattutto a pranzo partono in massa con le loro macchine verso Rapolano e altri paesi vicini per mangiare in altri ristoranti. Allo stesso tempo, è difficile che clienti esterni al borgo facciano un lungo viaggio per venire in un ristorante dove il cibo non è nulla di speciale. Alla fine chi si ferma a mangiare in questo ristorante, lo fa perché si trova ospite dell'hotel e non può o non vuole prendere la macchina per lasciare il Borgo ad ogni pasto. Se si trasformasse in un tipico agriturismo di campagna con prezzi bassi e cibo buono, probabilmente sarebbe sempre pieno fra i clienti dell'hotel ed ulteriori clienti esterni. M	Maurizio Scarpato on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non curanti di qualche recensione negativa abbiamo di sera avuto una piacevole sorpresa nel gustare i buoni pici ai funghi porcini e anche due saporiti secondi tagliata di manzo e spezzatino di maiale con spinaci. Per dolce cantucci e vin santo tipici della zona e una gran fetta di tiramisù. Dimenticavo c'è stata un'entree della casa davvero gradita (faceva già freschetto) una zuppa della casa. Prezzi nella norma. Not caring for some negative reviews we had a pleasant surprise in the evening to taste the good pici with porcini mushrooms and also two tasty second courses cut of beef and pork stew with spinach. Da assaggiare assolutamente la lingua di vitella cotta a bassa temperatura...ottimo lavoro ragazzi! Since the beginning of 2022 it has been under the management of the same hotel. With 21 guests flying out for a very special birthday, Armando and his team (including the fantastic Bianca, Michele, Chef Pancrazio, and barman Sergio – for dinner, and Pierpaolo and Georgiana for breakfast), did a really great job in catering for our two grand dinners. The drinks, appetisers and main meal (including delicious birthday cake) were wonderful, and the breakfasts had something for everyone – so much you hardly needed any lunch! Thank you all for being so friendly and helpful, and serving such wonderful food.
