we waited 45 min. before we were seated even
thow we had a reservation and there were tables free.
The food was not good. we orderd two kinds of pasta both we couldn't eat because it was so bed.
We left before we even got to desert

β β β β β If youβre visiting Amalfi, Taverna Buonvicino is a must. The service was exceptional and the food was even better. The Linguine with anchiovies colature and hazelnuts from Giffoni was quite possibly the best pasta dish Iβve ever had - Iβve never tasted anything like it. 10/10 all around.

β β β β β Ate dinner at 3 restaurants in Amalfi and would without doubt rate this one the lowest (food wise) and yet twice the price of the other two which were absolutely fantastic. OK on the plus side very rapid delivery of food.

β β β β β The best restaurant experience we had in Amalfi. Warm, comforting food in a restaurant that felt authentic and non-touristy. The bean soup as well as the pasta with beans and pancetta were each rich and delicious. The squid with orange and fennel may have been the best dish of our entire 10 day trip to Southern Italy in any city. And the staff were lovely and kind. Highly recommend!
