★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I ate here today and absolutely loved this place! The food was delicious, the prices were unexpectedly low for being in a touristy area and it's very close to the train station. At the time we went (around 12:30), we had no issues with finding seating, but it is also low season in February and I imagine that it may be packed during the high season. The owner was also amazingly friendly, which you appreciate if you've visited any of the more uptight and unnecessarily expensive restaurants in this area.
If you're an expat from the Southwest US or Cali, you'll appreciate the authenticity of the Mexican food for a little taste of home. I highly recommend this place if you're budget conscious, but still want a good, filling meal. We can't wait to go back!

It's small in size but the food, drinks and kindness of the staff are enough for 5 stars for me. Also the menu is at affordable prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An absolutely fantastic place. The flavors of the food were subtle, complex, and harmoniously blended. This isn't tex-mex. It's actual Mexican food, cooked by someone who knows the cuisine and knows what they're doing in the kitchen. Save space for their coconut cake. It's the cake you remembered eating when you were a kid but haven't been able to find since.
