Venivano tagliati e sezionati qui nel bosco da abili scalpellini, coadiuvati poi nel corso degli anni da nuovi e più moderni strumenti di lavoro. Trasportati a valle su carri trainati da buoi, attraverso la strada che scende da San Tomaso, finivano nei depositi di Valmadrera, pronti per essere venduti. The large granite boulders, dragged down from the Val Malenco by the glaciers and left on the slopes of these mountains during the last glaciations, abundant in this place, have served for hundreds of years for countless purposes. They were cut and dissected here in the woods by skilled stonemasons, then assisted over the years by new and more modern tools. Transported downstream on ox-drawn carts, across the road that descends from San Tomaso, they ended up in the warehouses of Valmadrera, ready to be sold.

Poi carrareccia pianeggiante e molto sconnessa, prestare attenzione, nel bosco fino al Tajasass. Lavorazione di trovanti in parte segati e altri interi, con segnaletica narrativa esaustiva.
