Aveva capito che l'evoluzione avrebbe presto riguardato anche l'arte dell'acconciatura maschile. A Parigi, molti parrucchieri da uomo, impiegavano delle donne, per tagliare i capelli, erano brave ed avevano successo. Venne a Milano e decise che la sua attivita' professionale si sarebbe concentrata sul taglio dei capelli (allora si parlava più' di 'Barbieri', piuttosto che di Parrucchieri) assunse due ragazze a cui insegno' il taglio dei capelli, scolpito a rasoio. L'arredamento del negozio fu fortemente innovativo per l'epoca e i clienti arrivarono a frotte. Fu un successo e divenne famoso, i figli Claudio e Valter, ne stanno proseguendo l'opera, l'innovazione, per quanto prudente, e' continua, li frequento da 50 anni, non cambierei mai. Il sig. Giorgio Tafuri ha tutta la mia stima, ha ora 94 anni, e' indipendente, lucidissimo di mente, se lo si fa' parlare del suo lavoro, e' una fonte straordinaria di aneddoti fascinosi, che riguardano la sua esperienza professionale, e' stato un grande uomo, ha tutta la mia ammirazione. Ettore Tozzi Mr. Giorgio Tafuri opened the shop in Via Tolstoi, in the 50s, after a professional experience in Paris. He understood that evolution would soon also concern the art of masculine styling. In Paris, many men's hairdressers used women to cut their hair, they were good and successful. He came to Milan and decided that his professional activity would focus on cutting hair (at the time there was more talk of 'Barbieri', rather than of Hairdressers) he hired two girls to whom he taught haircut, razor-cut. Sono passati 51 anni ed ancora sono un loro cliente. Accoglienti, professionali e soprattutto INTERISTI!!!! I was 16 the first time I went to the Tafuri hairdressing salon, Mr. Giorgio is no longer there but his sons have continued the art of dad. 51 years have passed and I am still their client. Welcoming, professional and above all INTERISTS !!!!

Non ti chiedono se vuoi la lozione, credo sia proprio il loro servizio uomo. Taglio nulla da criticare, nulla da elogiare, un taglio normalissimo. Forse un po' lunghi, un'ora e dieci, ma basta dire che si va di fretta. Non credo di tornarci... Very nice restaurant, welcoming and smiling owners. shampoo, lotion and cut, 29 euros! They don't ask you if you want lotion, I think it's their man service. Cutting nothing to criticize, nothing to praise, a very normal cut. Maybe a little long, an hour and ten, but suffice it to say that you're in a hurry. I don't think I'll go back ...
