Non mi è ben chiaro perché si chiami Piccolo, se poi è di medie dimensioni ed ha prezzi non molto bassi, anzi talvolta cari.
Sicuramente non paragonabile al più noto MD, ma almeno non costa quanto il Carrefour.
 An "average" supermarket, with "average" prices.
It is not clear to me why it is called Piccolo, if it is medium in size and has prices that are not very low, indeed sometimes expensive.
Certainly not comparable to the better known MD, but at least it doesn't cost as much as the Carrefour.

Servizio ottimo in salumeria e specie in macelleria. Cassiere e commesse gentili e disponibili... molto meno buona la direzione f.f. dove spadroneggia una giovane (mi pare si chiami Concetta) saccente e maleducata. La signora Carmela è di altro livello.

Excellent service in delicatessens and especially in butchers. Cashier and shop assistants kind and helpful ... much less good management f.f. where a young woman (I think her name is Concetta) dominates and is pedantic and rude. Mrs. Carmela is of another level.
