★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely bookshop-cafe on a canal a bit further away from the main tourist spots. The neighborhood is amazing to visit as well.
We had coffee, tea, crostinis and cake. All of it was delicious. The lemon tart was to die for, as were the crostinis. It was a nice bonus that they were vegan (didn't taste any different). The staff was lovely too, and the venue inside is very relaxed if you wanted to stay in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place looked so inviting and comfortable that we waited for 20 minutes for a table as they were competely full in a rainy afternoon. Was totally worth the wait as the food was really fantastic (the vegan sandwich my favourite ?), the atmosphere cozy and inviting and most of the staff was super warm and friendly! One of the staff members, an Asian girl, was really short with us and we felt bad, wondering why we got such cold service from her. But the other staff was so welcoming we were ultimately happy ?
Many really interested books as well, we ended up buying a unique guide book to Venice which we really found useful.
Thank you, we will be back!! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This cafe / bookshop is a relaxing spot in the midst of all the bustle. The tapas sized snacks are very interesting. It is not especially well stocked with books, but they are more props than they are the core business. Perhaps it is the magical aura of books that gives this place its relaxed vibe. If I had a magical portal that could transport me to Venice, this is where I would choose to materialise every time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stumbled upon this place. It’s a cute bookstore but it’s also an awesome spot for vegetarian/vegan food. Great spot with outside tables right along the canal where you can watch gondolas go by, but also super cozy inside. Great music and - the rare part - played at the perfect volume! The vegan crostini, panino, and cake we’re all great and pretty much impossible to find elsewhere in Venice. Even the wine choices were more exciting than the usual house wine, but very reasonably priced. Went back both days I was in Venice and will definitely return next time I’m here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sullaluna is a cozy and nice spot within cannaregio. It's nice and refreshing to have something to read along side your espresso or cappuccino. Of course there is plenty to choose from. And since it's located alongside the same street as other well known and regularly visited places by locals like Al Timon and Paradiso Perduto you can begin with tea or coffee by Sullaluna before grabbing a cicchetti via Al Timon or Paradiso Perduto!
