Subí al cráter con esta agencia y muy contento, contraté la salida el mismo día sin problemas y me indicaron también donde podía alquilar material.
Los guías muy bien, intentan hacer grupos que mas o menos tengan el mismo ritmo y, en cuanto a idiomas, el guía con el que fuimos hablaba italiano, inglés y algo de francés. Si antes de empezar ven que físicamente puedes tener problemas te lo dirán, te invitarán a no subir y no te cobrarán, pero si no quieres hacerles caso y después tienes que abandonar, lógicamente no te devolverán el dinero.
No es una subida complicada pero si no estas acostumbrado a hacer algo de deporte se te puede hacer difícil, ya que todo el grupo tiene que ir al mismo ritmo y no te puedes parar a descansar todo lo que quieras. Los caminos son estrechos y con mucha roca, es fácil resbalar. El descenso se hace ya de noche con frontales.
La agencia te proporciona casco y mascarilla, el resto de equipo lo tienes que traer tu. Si te falta algo o consideran que lo que llevas no es adecuado, tendrás que alquilarlo en otra tienda en el mismo pueblo.
An impressive and totally recommendable experience.
I went up to the crater with this agency and very happy, I hired the exit the same day without problems and they also told me where I could rent equipment.
The guides very well, try to make groups that more or less have the same rhythm and, in terms of languages, the guide that we went with spoke Italian, English and some French. If before they start they see that you can physically have problems they will tell you, they will invite you not to go up and they will not charge you, but if you do not want to ignore them and then you have to leave, they will not give you the money back.
It is not a complicated climb but if you are not used to doing some sport it can be difficult, as the whole group has to go at the same pace and you can not stop to rest as much as you want. The roads are narrow and with a lot of rock, it is easy to slide. The descent is done at night with fronts.
The agency provides you helmet and mask, the rest of the equipment you have to bring. If you lack something or consider that what you are carrying is not suitable, you will have to rent it at another store in the same town.

La guida della Stromboli Fire Trekking ci ha condotto sul pizzo in maniera professionale, parlandoci delle caratteristiche della montagna e cercando di agevolare gli escursionisti più in difficoltà. Una volta davanti ai crateri l'emozione è stata davvero grande. Esplosioni potenti e maestose davanti a noi, che siamo rimasti quasi incantati dalla potenza della natura. Ho fatto foto e video e qualcuna la pubblico anche qui. Un grazie a tutti gli addetti della Fire Trekking per la loro professionalità. Tutti disponibili e gentili. Exciting climbing.
the climb to the Stromboli volcano was really exciting. The guide of the Stromboli Fire Trekking has led us on the lace in a professional manner, talking about the characteristics of the mountain and trying to facilitate the most in difficulty hikers. Once in front of the craters the emotion was really great. Powerful and majestic explosions in front of us, which we were almost enchanted by the power of nature. I took pictures and videos and some of the audience here too. Thanks to all the Fire Trekking employees for their professionalism. All available and kind. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend Fire Trekking, our guide Prospero was great, one of the most experienced guides on Stromboli, has been guiding since 1982. When the private guide that our hotel booked for us, cancelled on us last minute, we found Fire Trekking(28euros per person)which is one of the local volcano guide companies based on Stromboli. They even helped us arrange an amazing little rustic bed & breakfast(50euros)last minute on Stromboli. The climb to the top of Stromboli is no joke, it was strenuous even for being a fit hiker and there is no guarantee that you will see the magma craters, due to the changing weather patterns at the top of the mountain, our guide made this very clear. When we reached the top the weather had cleared and we were greeted with amazing views of the setting sun and the glowing red magma craters, we even saw 3 fiery eruptions. It was surreal & sublime. Descending in the soft volcanic sand at night was even more fun. Highly recommend good hiking boots with ankle support, head light and layers as it gets cold at the top. The Stromboli climb is a must do if you plan on visiting the island and Fire Trekking will get you there safely.
