By far the worst place I've been in Italy! The waitress was shouting, food was 1 hour late and over cooked! They tried to sell me excuses like the rice!!! needs to be fresh (thus the delay) while at the same time she was shouting at her friend on the phone cause she forgot the order. We paid €62 for a risotto, a grilled half octopus and a coke!! Left everything untouched, paid and left! Try ANYWHERE else!

Great food and great staff! The view is also great! The price is what you pay for the quality of the food! Will be a returning customer!

We found this place from someone promoting the restaurant a few steps away revealing we could get a free glass of Prosecco and gift. The gift is a magnet with the restaurant's name on it & the glasses of Prosecco are quite small. My first indication that this place wasn't for us was due to the fact that the outside tent had zero people sitting in it around lunch time but the waiter refused to seat us at a table overlooking Mount Vesuvius with four chairs. He literally told us the table was for 4 people despite the fact that he had zero people in the tent. I was already not pleased and wanted to leave but figured we'd give the place a chance. Upon looking at the menu, they automatically charge a 15% service charge that they do not tell you nor do they post on the outside menu. If we had known they were going to charge us a 15% gratuity which is not common in Italy, we would have left immediately. The waiter had zero personality and was basically unpleasant. The food was okay for four out of the five small plates we ordered. My husband's plate of grilled squid was inedible. He genuinely loves squid especially grilled, and he could not eat most of his plate. In fact, he only had one bite. The waiter never checked back with us regarding the food or did he ask if our experience was good. He cleared away our plates full well knowing one plate was basically untouched but said nothing. Then he gives us the bill 60 euros for a meal that should have been not more than 30. If we hadn't been overlooking Mount Vesuvius and had a beer, this would have been a complete disappointment. The only reason it gets 2 stars is for the beautiful view and the decent side plates that include the roasted potatoes, grilled veggies, and fresh bread. We would not recommend nor would we ever go back. If you see 15% gratituity on the menu, a person handing out coupons with a free gift to get you inside, or somebody that asks you to move in a tent full of 0 people, it's best to leave immediately.

We were invited to try this restaurant by a guy standing outside who even offered us half a glass of sparkling wine. We were seated under a tent with no heating just by the sea.. had two portions of pasta with some fish, a portion of vegetable, one of zeppole, one beer and water. 35 euros each! I am used to eating outside and taking into consideration the quality and the taste, the long time it took to be served what we paid was too much. The waiters and waitresses were kind but I would definitely not recommend this place.

Good food, reasonable price...but as a tourist you always have to claim your free prosecco....

Free glass of Prosecco but only a mouth full, but staff was friendly and the food was really tasty and fresh.

Nice food especially the bruschetta, pasta was ok though. They add an extra 15% to the bill which is in the small print of he menu. But I would go back.

I dont’t understand why this restaurant doesn’t have 5 stars. The staff is absolutely amazing and the food was so great!!!
