★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Enna station is 5km from and 300m below enna town. Be prepared there is no bus and taxi at all. No people at all if station office is closed after 5 or 6 pm. Even though there are taxi phone numbers at train station, they can reply you saying that no taxi is avaliable. It will be crazy to walk and with lots of hungry dogs on the way. I tried to walk and spend an hour to complete only 3/4 of the route and I was finally stopped by the hungry dogs.
It is more wise to ask for a free ride from the cars on the road. If you don't know italian, can text the taxi drivers in Italian with the help of Google translate...be smart to download Google translate Offline languages in advance :) network at train station is poor. each taxi ride cost about 15 euro.
Arrive by bus can be a choice. The bus will drop you in the town, but they have only 1-2 bus each day.
Enna town is great and you will like it. Enjoy.
