Я	Яaffaele on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Roccaraso è una stazione ferroviaria della ferrovia Sulmona-Isernia (la cosiddetta Transiberiana Italiana) posta alla progressiva km 52+310. La stazio fu aperta nel 1897. La stazione ha un Fabbricato Viaggiatori un Magazzino Merci con Piano Caricatore (lato Sulmona). Inoltre (lato Isernia) c'é un'altro fabbricato ospitante la Torre Piezometrica (torre dell'acqua) in cui è ancora visibile sul fronte l'indicarore di livello. Sul piazzale ci sono 3 colonne d'acqua che venivano usate per il rifornimento dei tender delle locomotive a vapore. La stazione ha 6 binari: uno di corretto tracciato, due di precedenza e 3 binari tronchi. Come su tutta la linea il servizio ordinario è sospeso dal 2011. La stazione è saltuariamente usata per i treni turistici organizzati dalla Fondazione FS Italiane e dall'associazione culturale no-profit Le Rotaie. Roccaraso is a railway station of the Sulmona-Isernia railway (the so-called Italian Trans-Siberian) located at the progressive km 52 + 310. The station was opened in 1897. The station has a Passenger Building and a Goods Warehouse with Loading Floor (Sulmona side). Furthermore (Isernia side) there is another building hosting the Piezometric Tower (water tower) where the level indicator is still visible on the front. On the square there are 3 columns of water that were used to refuel the tenders of the steam locomotives. The station has 6 tracks: one of correct layout, two of precedence and 3 log tracks. As on the whole line, the ordinary service has been suspended since 2011. The station is occasionally used for tourist trains organized by the FS Italiane Foundation and the non-profit cultural association Le Rotaie.
