★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stazione della linea ferroviariaria della Sulmona-Isernia (la cosidetta Transiberiana d'Italia) posta al km 25+568. La stazione fu capolinea provvisorio, della tratta proveniente da Sulmona, dal 1892 al 1897 prima della costruzione delle gallerie che permisero il prolungamento fino ad Isernia.
In questo periodo da qui partiva una ferrovia di cantiere a scartamento ordinario con alcuni tratti a cremagliera che giungeva fino a Roccaraso.
Questa ferrovia aveva un percorso differente dall'attuale: per un breve tratto era attiguo all'attuale linea, per poi distaccarsi da essa nei pressi della galleria "Girone". Da qui con un tratto a cremagliera tagliava l'ansa di Campo di Giove per poi affiancarsi all'attuale linea nei pressi del km 33.
Nel 1990 fu declassata a semplice fermata.
Station of the Sulmona-Isernia railway line (the so-called Trans-Siberian of Italy) located at km 25 + 568. The station was the temporary terminus of the section coming from Sulmona, from 1892 to 1897 before the construction of the tunnels that allowed the extension to Isernia.
In this period, an ordinary gauge railway with some rack and pinion sections started from here and reached Roccaraso.
This railway had a different route from the current one: for a short stretch it was adjacent to the current line, and then detached from it near the "Girone" tunnel. From here with a cogwheel section it cut the bend of Campo di Giove and then joined the current line near km 33.
In 1990 it was downgraded to a simple stop.
