Leider ist das Kirchlein nur selten bei Führungen geöffnet. All'interno i dipinti più antichi, nell'abside e sull'arco trionfale. risalenti al 1300-10 ca. appartengono allo stile lineare , proveniente dalla Renania. GLi affreschi della volta e della navata Storie della Maddalena e Passione di Cristofori sono opera della bottega del Secondo maestro di San Giovanni in VIlla. Influenzato dal pittore Guarino. L'interno è completamente affrescato con dipinti di varie scuole che vanno dal 1300 al 1380 circa. La chiesa si trova in mezzo ai vigneti in luogo veramente panoramico e l'abbiamo raggiunta dalla passeggiata S.Osvaldo. Obwohl der Stadtrand von Bozen nur 500 Meter weg ist, befindet man sich in einer anderen Welt. Weinberge soweit man sehen kann. Hier befinden sich etwa 12 Weingüter, der Vernatsch heißt hier St. Magdalener. Die Straßen sind eng, zur Kirche führt nur eine schmale Straße, oben bei der Kirche gibt es nur sehr wenig Parkplätze. Die Kirche selbst ist nur am Freitag und Samstag von 16 bis 18 Uhr geöffnet. Vor der Kirche aus hat man eine wunderschöne Rundumsicht, auf Bozen runter, nach Kardaun und Karneid. Beautiful area!
