D	Dieter Kindermann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ St. Hippolyt , Tissens , Südtirol. Wir haben St. Hippolyt über den Wanderweg von Völlan erreicht. Man hat von diesem Plateau eine wunderbare Aussicht über das Etschtal und in das Passeiertal hinein. Der Ort strahlt eine Kraft und Ruhe aus - wohl auch deswegen wurde er bereits seit der Jungsteinzeit als Siedlungsgebiet und als Kultstätte benutzt. Die Kirche wurde wohl ende des 13. Jahrhunderts am Ort eines früheren Kultplatzes errichtet. Erste und urkundliche Erwähnung der Kirche war 1288. Die kleine Wanderung hat sich wirklich gelohnt .... . Neben der Kirche findet man zur Stärkung die Gaststätte Hippolyt - auch ein Ort wo wich ein Besuch lohnt. St. Hippolyt, Tissens, South Tyrol. We reached St. Hippolyt on the hiking trail from Völlan. From this plateau you have a wonderful view over the Adige Valley and into the Passeier Valley. The place exudes strength and tranquility - this is probably one of the reasons why it has been used as a settlement area and place of worship since the Neolithic Age. The church was probably built at the end of the 13th century on the site of an earlier cult site. The church was first mentioned in a document in 1288. The short hike was really worth it .... Next to the church you will find the restaurant Hippolyt for refreshment - also a place where a visit is worthwhile.

La chiesetta campeggia su tutta la zona, ma non ci è stato possibile visitarla nonostante fosse una domenica di agosto. Possibilità di ristoro a pochi metri. Passeggiata non difficile partendo dal parcheggio lungo la strada per il passo Palade. 20 minuti di salita non impegnativa Very beautiful and panoramic place with many wooden benches and deckchairs. The church stands out over the whole area, but it was not possible for us to visit it even though it was a Sunday in August. Possibility of refreshment a few meters. A not difficult walk starting from the parking lot along the road to the Palade pass. 20 minutes of non-binding ascent
H	Hendrik Kudela on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schöner Aussichtspunkt. Möglich ist ein kleiner Rundweg durch das nette Tal südlich der Kirche vorbei am Weiher etwas unterhalb. Von Westen über Felsen kurz steil hinauf. Oben Einkehrmöglichkeit und mehrere Plätze um Brotzeit zu machen. Es ist auch möglich von einem kostenlosen Parkplatz über den Karrenweg in einer viertel Stunde rauf zu kommen. Nice vantage point. A small circular route through the nice valley south of the church is possible, past the pond a little below. From the west over rocks briefly uphill. Above you can stop for refreshments and several places to have a snack. It is also possible to get up from a free car park via the cart path in a quarter of an hour.

We did this pilgrimage route today, routes 5 and 5A, a route that I would say advanced because of the inclination of certain roads, it is approximately 11 kilometers ... with a spectacular panoramic view ... if you like to walk, meditate and relax mentally it is ideal for you.
s	stefano collina on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella e semplice passeggiata nella zona di Tesimo,alla chiesa che si vede bene dalla Val D Adige di San Ippolito. Vista panoramica dalle Dolomiti a est,alla Val Passiria e Tessa a Nord. Una ventina di minuti dal parcheggio per lo piu in leggera salita ,solo alcuni tratti di pochi metri poco più ripida . Sopra al colle si trova anche una trattoria. Nice and simple walk in the Tesimo area, to the church of San Ippolito which can be seen clearly from the Val D Adige. Panoramic view from the Dolomites to the east, Val Passiria and Tessa to the north. About twenty minutes from the parking lot, mostly uphill, only some sections of a few meters slightly steeper. Above the hill there is also a restaurant.

L	Lorenzo Torri on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view is AMAZING. You can dominate the whole valley by sight. It just takes some 5-10min walking to get there by a parking just down the hill. I would really recommend this nice spot for anybody who comes to Südtirol
