Nothing special, an expensive ticket to the beach, expensive parking in the field, everything closed in the evening. Waste of time. I was on September 2022.

The beach is quite nice, stunning clean water and beautiful view of the ruins nearby. The beach is also quite close to the entrance. The only negative point is the car parking that asked us weirdly to pay the amount of 3,5 EUR in order to place the car at a local land park. I would suggest to go there with a bike in order to avoid the parking fees and explore the park.

Brilliant white sandy beaches (with few people), shallow emerald sea waters with views of crumbling archeological (old tuna processing buildings closed in 1940's). NOTE: flat concrete path from entrance to beach, which seems reasonable for wheelchairs.

If you are going to this beach you need to bring your umbrella for shadow. If you want to go in the water, you need to be prepared for brown sea grass, because is everywhere around the beach within 7 meters. And there is that awful smell from that grass. Yoy need to park your car 800m before, and walk to the beach.

Small beach, now in September it wasn't busy at all. Water is very warm, wouldn't recommend for snorkeling. There are no umbrellas, no shade. Parking is €3, you have to walk a bit.

Do not heed those who grumble about the "algae" - what you actually find on the beach are simply the rests of a seagrass ("Poseidonia Oceanica") that covers the sea bed. Complaining about it is like complaining about dead plants in a forest! This is not the beach of a seaside hotel. This a fantastic place for the nature lovers, offering crystal clear seawater, a wild beach, and the possibility of walking in a protected area with its fascinating local flora, fauna and geology (there's also a small informative museum). And the remains of the "tonnara", a humble piece of industrial architecture, taking on a strange beauty in its isolation against the blue sky, now almost resemble an ancient temple... It takes a little walk to get there, and thank god for that, as it probably keeps away those who are more comfortable in shopping mall.

To really enjoy this beach, I suggest getting there as early as possible, because after 11am it becomes overcrowded. Middle of June! It is a nice spot in a very natural setting. Best beach in Italy in 2005? Debatable from what I saw but worth a visit (go as Early as possible).
