You can find some garbage (papers and plastic) ever 2m, also in the water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The water and area is absolutely beautiful. So warm and lovely to swim and relax in. The rocks however can be tricky to navigate.
During peak season it is ridiculously crowded and noisy. Uncomfortable and hot to lie on the rocks for a long time and sun bed prices are €40-€50 for two, per day. The highest prices I’ve seen in all of Europe.
Go between 8-10am and then go somewhere else!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is reachable only by many many stairs coming from a street where no parking are available. The worst is that the beach is very stony and in top, even if with hard bones, there is almost no place to put a towel as almost all beach is rented out

Too crowded,there is no place to put a towel,the sea is not so clean.
We had to park our car 3 kms away because there was no free parking anywhere.
A tourist trap.
Better to avoid this one

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful beach with an island that's walkable with shallow water, water is crystal clear and so cooling during the hot summer but the water bed is made up of big and small stones which is difficult to walk with bare foot, highly recommended to wear some water boots. Beach area is made of pebbles and large pieces of stones so will be difficult to walk and lying down on the beach with a towel takes some challenge. The beach is overly overly crowded. Every perceivable area is taken up by a beach towel right to the last inch next to the water. Not a good spot if you need some social distancing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for snorkeling, full of diversified fishes, big or small. If you are lucky you can see here starfishes. The beach is full of round rocks, it's better to have some kind of slippers. The view is very nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice beach,.but I am not the biggest fan of beaches with bog stones. I prefer sandy beaches. Also quite crowded in April, so I don't even want to imagine in July/August.
For me the walk from Taormina to Isola Bella was already worth it however.
