E non solo per la qualità degli strumenti, che mi è stata raccomandata da esperti, e neppure per l'affascinante odore di legni pregiati che si respira entrando, ma per l'umanità delle persone che esercitano quel nobile mestiere.? Si vede che l'arte e la cultura rendono migliori le persone. Ho trascorso un quarto d'ora conversando amabilmente di amore per la musica e ho finito per aprire il mio cuore a una persona che fino a poco prima mi era sconosciuta! Questa è l'Italia che amo, che trionferà sulla volgarità imperante!

"And not only for the quality of the instruments, which was recommended to me by experts, and not even for the fascinating smell of fine woods that you breathe entering, but for the 'humanity of the people who practice that noble job.' We see that art and culture make people better. I spent a quarter of an hour talking amiably about love for music and I ended up opening my heart to a person who until recently was unknown to me! This is the Italy I love, which will triumph over the prevailing vulgarity!
