★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Società Canottieri Querini nasce il 16 maggio 1901 per ricordare il giovane ufficiale veneziano della Regia Marina disperso nel Mar Glaciale Artico mentre il Duca degli Abruzzi tentava di conquistare il Polo Nord. Nel tempo ha conquistato numerosi trofei a livello nazionale e internazionale, voga veneta e canottaggio.
The Querini Canottieri Society was born on May 16, 1901 to commemorate the young Venetian officer of the Royal Navy who was lost in the Arctic Ocean while the Duke of Abruzzi was trying to conquer the North Pole. Over time it has won numerous trophies nationally and internationally, Venetian rowing and rowing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The club Canottieri Querini gives introductory courses in Venetian rowing (voga alla venetia). In 4 times 2 hours a qualified, patient and sympathetic coach teaches the Venetian way of rowing on the beautiful lagoon of Venice between Murano and Vignole. A highly recommended experience.
