★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic food in a very accommodating restaurant, not too pretentious as it can quickly be the case in a Michelin Star restaurant.
Andrea, the chef, comes by several times along the evening to check that everything is fine. The 5 course menu is a great choice and portions are of a good size in order to be able to appreciate enough of each course, while managing all courses. Great wine list from good and reasonably priced wines to all the big names.
His star is very well deserved.
A great experience and certainly worth a visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the seven course surprise menu plus wine pairing- honestly, it was way below expectations for a Michelin Star Cousine. The food was average but actually did lack the special touch / intense flavor and the wine did not match the food quite well. Furthermore I have to say that the surprise menu was nothing special (final course was chicken with something…). If you are used to haut cuisine, please avoid that place, there are better (and cheaper) options around Meran.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favourite restaurants in Merano. Excellent food, great service, nice wine list and very accommodating chef. The ambience is lovely and their olive oil bread is just divine. All in all a fabulous experience and well deserved Michelin star.

What out of my expectation is that the dessert is really very refreshing. Also, because it’s a birthday celebration, the staff had some additional warm arrangements for us. I feel very lucky and happy that I chose Sissi. ?
