★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is standard, great wine selection, service and hospitality below zero! Didn’t show us a seat as if they didn’t want more guests. After selecting the seat ourselves, we waited for the wine for around 30 minutes (2 times 0.2 Prosecco for 24 Euros) and for the food another 30. Place was cute so we didn’t mind but still not the service as it is usual in Italy. There are better alternatives in Meran.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A chain wine shop where you can drink and eat. In this particular one the staff is very unfriendly and not quite keen to have us just having a glass of wine without eating. A bit of people skills wouldn't hurt.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were very happy with our lunch, fried alici, melanzane alla parmeggiana, and pork cutlet. While this is a chain, we found the service attentive and the food freshly prepared. Wine is well-priced. For the price of 2 large glasses we purchased a bottle of decent Lagrein. Huge wine selection and a lovely garden, very quiet and pleasant on this fall day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't usually write bad reviews but I will make an exception for the exceptionally poor experience we had on November 3, 2021.
The waiter knew nothing about wine and just presented us with the most expensive options and when we enquired about the more affordable wine, he commented that we were cheap.
They did not bring any bread with the antipasto and the wine arrived midway through our main course.
When we asked for the bill, the waiter acknowledged us, then went away for nearly 20 minutes. He came back to attend to the newly-seated customers. He asked us if we needed anything else and we said we would just like to pay. He did not say anything else, so after 5 more minutes, we got up and asked the bartender about how to pay our bill. He informed us that we could pay at the entrance.
I could excuse suboptimal service had the restaurant been busy, but it was not. Please just tell us that we should pay at the counter instead of letting us wait for 20 minutes.
It's a real shame because the food, wine, and environment were good, but they were all overshadowed by the very poor service. Unattentive, uninformed, and rude staff. (The cashier was nice though)
