Schon das dritte Mal verbringen wir unsere Sommerferien auf der wunderschönen Insel Sizilien. Letztes Jahr mit einem Pandemie bedingten Unterbruch. Auch für diesen Sommer wurden wir wie immer perfekt von Siculus bei der Ferienhausauswahl betreut. Die Kundeninformationen sind umfassend und die Reaktionszeiten auf Anfragen prompt. Auch während dem Aufenthalt im wunderschönen La Mandorlaia wurden wir sehr gut von Siculus und dem Property-Manager betreut. Alles in allem reibungslose und tolle Familienferien. Gerne wieder.

Once they got our payment, they stopped answering emails. The villa was in extremely poor condition - no apology and no compensation. Hope no one will have to fall for this scam company!

My family and I had an excellent stay at our villa. Siculus were super professional and always really helpful when we had and queries both before and during our stay. Would thoroughly recommend!

What would be the highlight of the summer was nothing more than a huge disappointment. On the outside and the pictures look good, but the reality is really different. Would never book anything with Siculus.com, and would like to warn others who have thoughts about it. We booked the villa for several nights and were promised a number of things before and at check-in. Before we booked, we had good contact with the owner, Katie. But once we were at the house, they stopped to answer our e-mails and messages. One of the many sad things that happened during the time in the villa was that there was a construction site next to the house, where they are currently working on a new house / pool. Here, too, the landlord said that we would not hear / see the construction workers while we were there - but already during our first morning out by the pool, it was drilled, sawed and hissed a lot. We filmed a lot of material as evidence. Another thing the host said at check-in was that the rubbish should be taken care of every other day, but during all our days / nights in the villa, the rubbish was not picked up once. In addition, when we were going to throw our rubbish at the first opportunity, the bins were already so full that we had to put all our rubbish outside the bins. It looked like a dump the rest of the week, and also smelled and flies and cockroaches gathered at it. Even at check-in, the pool was very dirty. Which host blamed a storm the day before, but it was not about leaves or leaves in the pool, but there was really dirt in every corner of the pool. The pool was dirty until the 5th day, when after several messages to the host on site, I got him to call the pool-cleaning-guy who cleaned it. Here we also have photographs. During our first day, just after check-in, we would go to the toilet - then the water was completely turned off. There was also no toilet paper so that was enough. Here, too, I had to write several messages to the host that we needed more. There were no garbage bags either. Flies, ants and cockroaches are all around and in the house - is a huge problem. It was hard to even lie by the pool and enjoy because there were really flocks of flies. We paid all our summer travel expenses for this house, which turned out to be a pure disappointment. We photographed and filmed everything, for the sake of proof. We have never been cheated on as much money as we were with this bad accommodation, and we sincerely hope no one else happens to this.

We paid expensive money for an incredibly poorly maintained house. As soon as all the money, in advance, was paid to Siculus.com - they stopped having a customer service with us. We have subsequently tried to get hold of the owners of the house, but no one answers. So incredibly bad !! We hope no one will have to go through this as we did. I do not know what the rest of you think, but having a lot of construction work next to the pool may not be so particularly relaxing? The first morning in the villa we woke up to this awful sound!

If you consider to spend your holiday in the south of Sicily, I can highly recommend to book your house via Siculus. In the past years, my family and I booked several holiday homes via Siculus and we were always happy. The family business offers great individual places and and always (!) comes along with great and friendly service.
