β β β β β I've been in the process of learning Italian for several years now as my partner is Sicilian and I want to be able to speak with his family freely. I looked for a 5 x day flexible course in Palermo while I was there to visit his family - this is when I came across Teresa's Italian language school.
Teresa and I exchanged a few messages online to identify my level of Italian & what my goals were, from this she custom-tailored an affordable experience for me. Teresa and I had several Skype lessons prior to my arrival as well.
My partner's family could not believe how much better my speaking was after working with the lovely teachers at the school for 5 x days-Paula & Silvia to name a few- and I still continue to meet with Teresa 1 x a week via Skype to keep up my learning from abroad.
I would also like to highlight that learning Italian with Teresa and her staff is fun- we laugh while I learn :)

β β β β β I went to this school for 2 months and the teachers are friendly, professional and extremely helpful. I have greatly improved my Italian through the lessons which not only explore Italian grammar and oral conversations but also Italian culture. Especially grateful for Federica :)

I really like how the lessons are structured and with the process Iβve done over this time with a help of my teacher Teresa. When I studied on site in Palermo, I met through the school other students and found company to do activities after classes. Can recommend the school.

β β β β β I did 2 weeks of classes in the school. Iβm satisfied and I can recommend this place to everyone who wants to start speaking Italian. The teachers are great and friendly, the atmosphere here is very nice and makes you feel welcomed :)

β β β β β This school worked really well for me!
Starting from the first contact, when I got an immediate reply on my inquiry (it took 2 days and more for other schools) to quick lesson plan and me being in the class one day after signing up. Groups are small, the size varies day by day. The approach is flexible and even if you happen to skip because of some pre-arranged plans, it is possible to work out the hours online or the other time. All the teachers seem nice, approachable, professional: Paola is very encouraging, Chiara has a lot to share about local tradition and culture, and Federica explains everything in a structured manner and is the teacher I would come back to ! Tours are well organised and I enjoyed Lalla's company and her knowledge of the city.
The only issue for me was the temperature inside classrooms (during March), since I was freezing and had to wear layers. But that is just me not coping well with no heating buildings.
All in all, for me it was worth the investment!

β β β β β I was very happy when I did my first course at this school in 2021. When I returned to continue my studies, I found to my great disappointment that the School's Italian teacher was not in fact able to offer me classes and that the two-hour conversational classes had been cancelled. In short, I was unable to join the School for the programme I had expected. I can only recommend that prospective students check what is available before enrolling or arriving, as courses as well as teachers can be make 'unavailable' at very short notice. The communication was very poor, although I am sure that the teachers remain lively and effective.

β β β β β This school is excellent and I will definitely recommend it to friends. In my case I spent two weeks of private lessons and was able to cover an enormous amount of material in that time. The teachers were all extremely accommodating to this goal, simultaneously encouraging and challenging me. Even after the first day I felt much more comfortable with my Italian and every day I could actively sense the improvement.
I hope to return for more conventional group classes and to hopefully join in some of the excursions as well, time allowing.
