Unfortunately I can not give a review on the technical competence but the rudeness of the owner makes it clear how interested he is in his customers. Look elsewhere!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Onesto, competente e puntuale. Non c'è motivo per riportare le bici da riparare "in città" nel timore che in una località turistica i prezzi siano più elevati. Da Sergio i prezzi sono onestissimi ed i preventivi sempre rispettati (o addirittura ribassati). Da ricordare che ci troviamo di fronte ad un friulano, per cui la parola viene rispettata ed un preventivo non è una base di partenza per la trattativa. Tempi di riparazione velocissimi. Il migliore a Lignano e dintorni.
Honest, competent and punctual. There is no reason to return the bikes to be repaired "in the city" in fear that in a tourist resort the prices will be higher. At Sergio the prices are very honest and the quotes always respected (or even lowered). Remember that we are faced with a Friulian, so the word is respected and a quote is not a starting point for the negotiation. Fast repair times. The best in Lignano and surroundings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sono andato da Sergio a farmi aggiustare la catena della bicicletta, e ammetto che era anche arrugginita, vado la a dirgli che ho la catena della bici rotta e visto che ero già stato l’anno prima ad aggiustarla (anche la a ripararla gli partiva un nervoso) mi fa è spaccata con una bestemmia, non avendo capito bene gliela porto dentro e mi dice cosa vuoi che faccia con un altra bestemmia.
Sergio un grandissimo maleducato che solo perché va bene non significa che può trattare i clienti come gli pare e piace.
Io definirei tutto quello che dimostra di essere + quello che non ha voglia di fare

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Giovedì sera passo e chiedo se il giorno dopo avrebbe avuto due bici con seggiolini da affittare.
In modo secco, mi risponde che non sa ancora. Chiedo se posso lasciare il mio numero per avere un aggiornamento il giorno successivo.
Il venerdì mi chiama e mi dice che mi ha tenuto le bici da parte. Ringrazio e mi dirigo al negozio.
Arrivo con i miei figli nei passeggini e mia moglie. Ci tratta molto male dicendoci che ingombriamo sulla porta. Ci spostiamo. Arriva a servirci. Ci indica le bici. Chiedo quanto mi fa per un paio d'ore. Mi chiede "ma non era per una settimana?!?" Rispondiamo che era impossibile avessimo chiesto per una settimana perché saremmo partiti all'indomani. Con un plateale gesto del braccio, ci manda a quel paese e se ne va nel retrobottega.
Non conoscere le regole del marketing esperienziale è accettabile (anche se sconsigliato per un imprenditore), essere dei cafoni non lo è.

Not knowing the rules of experiential marketing is acceptable (even if not recommended for an entrepreneur), being a peasant is not.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid if you don't speak Italian on a conversational level.
The owner is competent in his work and friendly and the bikes are great, but he only speaks Italian and is either incompetent with bookkeeping or dishonest. I can't be too sure because I didn't understand the process but he probably made me pay twice, totalling a sum I could have bought a used bike for. At least be sure to keep the receipt he gives you.
Update: I did find my receipt and he returned the money, but this should not have been a problem in the first place.
