β β β β β A very happy accident! I was looking for a quick, inexpensive bite to eat and found this spot. I had a huge serving of tuna and olive pasta (great), bread, a coke (with lots of ice), a full pitcher of water (with lots of ice), glorious air conditioning, a second story view of the Duomo, and a friendly staff all for only 6 euros! What a treat on a budget! Thank you!!!

β β β β β Unpretentious cafeteria for families, travellers, students, local workers. Big tasty serves with a good variety of vegetables, soup, roast meats, pastas.. I had Florentine steak that was as good as any restaurant and half the price. No waiting, no restaurant tricks. Staff were friendly. helpful even spoke English.

β β β β β This was a Rick Steve's recommendation... He wasn't wrong. While it may not be seen as fine dining, the food was delicious. The atmosphere was quiet and stress free, something that I rarely find to be the case while dining in Italy. Additionally, it was cheap. Having been traveling throughout Italy for the past few weeks, it was so nice to have delicious Italian food but in a setting that felt like I was getting a home cooked meal!

β β β β β Great place with delicious real Italian food for cheap prices. Get a tray and walk through picking out the plates of food that you want. Pay once you get to the end and walk on over to a table to enjoy it. Put the tray away when you're done. Super simple and easy. I had a big meal with 3 plates which cost me 10 euros. You could easily have a filling meal with 1 or 2 plates which will run you 4-8 euro. Highly recommend!

Tap water is free, and there are plenty of tables.
