★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect transportation from the base station in St Ullrich to the higher sun drenched plateau with it's great accessible slopes!
Even beginners and intermediate level skiers can choose among several slopes with magnificent views!
The red egg-shaped 'Seilbahnen' bring you in about 10 minutes to the top.
Most of the time no waiting line at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were in Ortisei 2 days and ended up taking this cablecar up three times. If you can, grab some food at the supermarket just a few steps away over the bridge, and take one of the first cable cars up in the morning. Have breakfast on a bench at the top overlooking the most picturesque view. We came later that day and the view was different, as now it had some gorgeous fog around the mountains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really was elevator with spectacular views, the price might be a bit steep, but trust me!
THE VIEWS ARE AMAZING AT THE TOP.
One of the best things I did was to hop on this elevator and spend couple of hours on top of the world and suck in the fresh mountain air.
You can also have a beer in the restaurant at the top and lunch/dinner. Prices are reasonable when taking in account the location.
Lift costs 20€ euros 2-way trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing views right off the lift and gateway to great hiking plateau without huge elevation climbs (unless you choose so). Right in town with great easy parking 0.50 euros/hour
