Roberto Carfagni, un excelente profesor de latín y literatura, comparte con generosidad y jovial entusiasmo sus conocimientos; mediante sus clases nos permite no sólo leer autores de diversas épocas que trataron argumentos varios, sino también entablar un diálogo tan vivo con ellos, que nos es posible adquirir sabiduría para la vida. La Schola Latina es, pues, un excelente lugar para estudiar latín, su literatura y continuar con el cultivo del Humanismo. I have participated in the summer courses (Scholae aestivae) on three occasions, and each one of them has given me valuable lessons. Roberto Carfagni, an excellent professor of Latin and literature, shares his knowledge with generosity and jovial enthusiasm; Through his classes, he allows us not only to read authors from different times who dealt with various arguments, but also to engage in such a lively dialogue with them that we can acquire wisdom for life. The Latin Schola is, then, an excellent place to study Latin, its literature and continue with the cultivation of Humanism.

Não pode ser classificada como uma escola de Latim e Grego, mas sim um lugar que nos permite viajar no tempo e conversar com diversos pensadores que tentaram, ao tecer suas obras, nos deixar sugestões de respostas ou, o que talvez mais útil seja, perguntas. Trata-se, por conseguinte, uma ocasião singular para encontrar pessoas de todo o mundo que compartilham semelhantes interesses - o humanismo, a literatura, a língua e a cultura greco-latinas e com elas embarcar em uma expedição em busca de um tesouro perdido: a capacidade de dialogar com que antes floresceram, os que se fazem pó, que conhecemos por clássicos dada a gentileza que nos fizeram de deixar seus testemunhos em busca de nos fazer pensar. Vivamente recomendo esta imersão em uma cidade amena, na belíssima Magna Grécia situada, perto de Pesto, Pompeia e Nápoles. Não falta ocasião, portanto, para excursões aos testemunhos físicos dessas civilizações, pedras que nos sussurram segredos, para quem os sabe ouvir. Schola Latina is part of those places that astonish us, given the uniqueness of the experience it provides us.
