★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schiacciate grandi e leggere, croccanti e poco unte. Una favola, meglio che a Firenze. Il vino dice buonissimo, io son astemia, ma quelli con me erano veri intenditori. Da provare, ambiente informale e piccolo all'interno, tavolini alti all'esterno sempre troppo pochi, ma ci si può appoggiare alle panchine della piazza. Mangiato benissimo tutta la squadra la domenica a pranzo verso le 13.30 niente code.
 Mashed large and light, crunchy and lightly greasy. A fairytale, better than in Florence. The wine says very good, I am teetotal, but those with me were true connoisseurs. To try, informal and small inside, high tables outside always too few, but you can lean on the benches in the square. The whole team ate very well on Sunday for lunch around 1.30pm, no queues.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ero nei pressi di Empoli e mi sono fermato per mangiare qualcosa al volo, ed ho trovato questo posto dove fanno ottime schiacciate. Ho preso la schiacciata con il nome 'Averardo', composta da: prosciutto crudo, pecorino, pomodorini e rucola. Buonissima. Prodotti freschi e di qualità, specialmente il crudo che risultava molto saporito. Il pane molto buono, era caldo e croccante. Da bere invece, ho preso una Cola Italiana (Molecola) che, mi ha stupito nel gusto. Un po' più amara della classica Coca-Cola, ma si difende bene. Il posto è pulito, piccolino ma caratteristico. C'è qualche posto all'interno appoggiati ad un bancone e qualche posto esterno dove sedersi per mangiare. Il ragazzo delle schiacciate è stato molto cordiale e simpatico. Infine, il conto è stato onesto. Ho pagato 8€, 5€ per il panino (di grandi dimensioni) + 3€ per la bibita (in vetro). Questo posto si trova nella piazza principale di Empoli (Piazza della Vittoria), ed è facilmente raggiungibile in macchina parcheggiando nei pressi del piazzale e, facendosi 2 minuti di camminata. Consigliato.
I was near Empoli and I stopped for a quick bite to eat, and I found this place where they make excellent dunks. I took the schiacciata with the name 'Averardo', made up of: raw ham, pecorino, cherry tomatoes and rocket. Very good. Fresh and quality products, especially the raw which was very tasty. The bread was very good, it was warm and crunchy. To drink instead, I took an Italian Cola (Molecola) which surprised me in taste. A little bit more bitter than the classic Coca-Cola, but it defends itself well. The place is clean, small but quaint. There is some place inside leaning against a counter and some outside place to sit down to eat. The dunk guy was very friendly and nice. Finally, the bill was honest. I paid € 8, € 5 for the sandwich (large size) + € 3 for the soft drink (in glass). This place is located in the main square of Empoli (Piazza della Vittoria), and is easily accessible by car by parking near the square and taking a 2-minute walk. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got one flat bread with raw ham, cheese, rucola and eggplant (5 euro, good). Flat bread is very soft and served hot. Maybe could be more stuffed.
There are tables and chairs outside.
