β β β β β Excellent restaurant! The Eritrean food was beautifully flavoured and delicately spiced. The menu is short - they know what they're doing and what they do, they do really well! Great little wine list. Very friendly, helpful service. Attractive interior and relaxed atmosphere. The couples, groups of friends and solo diners of all ages were all clearly enjoying themselves. Highly recommended!

β β β β β If you have never tried Eritrean cuisine before, Savana is great for your first experience. Charming decor, no-fuss straightforward service and easily accessible by tram (2, 4, 12 or 14) and bus (43 or 57).
Pro Tip: Reserve your table in advance for weekend seatings, and pre-order one portion of the fish zighini (zighini di pesce) as well!

β β β β β Very nice place - remote and not very crowded, nice looking and with extremely pleasant service.
The food is amazing. We took the meat plate and loved it, it's really a lot of food.
Overall paid around 50 eur for two plates, wine and water so I'd say definitely worth the price.
Highly recommended if you like eating with your hands :)
