Non si tratta di un'opera d'arte, ma di una stampa riprodotta in serie, un po' come quello della Madonna delle Lacrime di Siracusa, che però mostra una figura molto espressiva e attraente nel suo dolce e profondo sguardo.
Il quadro e il suo santuario, costruito partendo dalla casa donata dalla fondatrice costituiscono un centro d'attrazione per fedeli provenienti anche da remote località dell'Isola.
A place of intense spiritual experience that is intertwined with the story of its founder, Madre Carmela Aprile and the story of an extraordinary and miraculous painting of the Sacred Heart of Jesus kept in it.
It is not a work of art, but a print reproduced in series, rather like that of the Madonna delle Lacrime in Syracuse, which however shows a very expressive and attractive figure in its sweet and deep look.
The painting and its sanctuary, built starting from the house donated by the founder, constitute a center of attraction for the faithful coming from remote places on the island.
