★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situato nel centro di Cerro Maggiore, sul modesto piazzale, incastonato tra le case , spicca la facciata in mattoni rossi, in stile barocco, sobria ed elegante. L' edificio risale al 1758 su progetto dell'architetto milanese Giovanni Angiolo Caslini. All' interno si trovano pregevoli opere tra cui: la statua settecentesca della "Madonna col Bambino" opera del Giarmaneli e l'affresco dell'Addolorata databile attorno al 1500.
Located in the center of Cerro Maggiore, on the modest square, nestled between the houses, the red brick facade stands out, in a baroque, sober and elegant style. The building dates back to 1758 on a project by the Milanese architect Giovanni Angiolo Caslini. Inside there are valuable works including: the eighteenth-century statue of the "Madonna and Child" by Giarmaneli and the fresco of the Addolorata dating from around 1500.
