★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dapprima fu cappella alla Madonna della Neve, nella quale un quadro o affresco pianse sangue (così si narra). Da qui, San Carlo Borromeo volle costruire una santuario in onore del miracolo avvenuto. Questa chiesa trasuda storia da tutte le mura. Sono connessi ad essa nomi del calibro di Visconti e Borromeo. L'affresco ed il panno con cui Gerolamo Ferri asciugò le lacrime insanguinate della Madonna sono entrambi ancora presenti nel santuario.
At first it was the chapel of the Madonna della Neve, in which a painting or fresco wept blood (so it is said). From here, San Carlo Borromeo wanted to build a sanctuary in honor of the miracle that had occurred. This church oozes history from all around the walls. Names of the caliber of Visconti and Borromeo are connected to it. The fresco and the cloth with which Gerolamo Ferri dried the bloody tears of the Madonna are both still present in the sanctuary.

Ho proprio trovato l apertura della porta Santa il centenario ....... Una meaviglia per chi crede ...... Utilizzare una mezza giornata per viverlo ed eventualmente un avvicinamento e preghiera lo consiglio .
Posto vicino il centro di Rho si puo anche visitare l altro Santuario in centro nella pedonale ...... Consiglio.
Very important sanctuary even if little known for meditation.
I just found the opening of the Holy Door on the centenary ....... A miracle for those who believe ...... Use half a day to live it and possibly an approach and prayer I recommend it.
Located near the center of Rho, you can also visit the other Sanctuary in the center in the pedestrian area ...... Council.
