D	Donato Luongo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto spirituale La chiesa costruita nel '600 con l'epidemia di peste che flagellava il Regno di Napoli. esisteva già una statua dedicata al santo, e la chiesa barocca era di modesta fattura e piccole dimensioni, edificata proprio presso la grotta. Nel 1765 una grande frana distrusse il vecchio abitato che si spopolò nelle contrade sottostanti di Sant'Angelo e Giancamillo, ma il culto della chiesa provvisoria non scemò.posto sicuramente da visitare Spiritual place The church built in the 1600s with the plague epidemic that scourged the Kingdom of Naples. a statue dedicated to the saint already existed, and the baroque church was of modest invoice and small dimensions, built right near the cave. A	Alessandro Cugini on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il convento e' tenuto dai Padri Caracciolini con grande capacita ed impegno. Ha una ala moderna di 3 piani ed ospita anche gruppi di pellegrini. Ha anche una ala antica che e' in via di restauro. La chiesa di san Rocco e' molto frequentata da fedeli di Roccamontepiano ed esterni. Il convento e' su una rocca circondata da un bosco ampio e fruibilissimo. Il convento dista un paio di km dal centro del paese in una salita carrozzabile. Il sito e' panoramico ed ampio e l'ingresso ha una vasta radura con un bell'albero vecchio e possente che incontra i venuti. I Padri hanno la gestione di vare parrocchie del cicondario. Beautiful Sanctuary .. very well kept and well organized ... I highly recommend it for all devotees .. but also for non-devotees ... a great place to gather in prayer and meditation ... there is room for everyone .. I repeat I highly recommend it ..

I riti religiosi si svolgono puntualmente rispettando orari e calendario. Da sempre la messa principale é quella della domenica mattina alle ore 11.00. Sanctuary accessible by all.
