The façade is preceded by a large terraced portico in brick and stone, to which it is connected and which develops on both sides of the churchyard. It has a giant order of brick pilasters and an overlying entablature that supports the triangular tympanum and identifies three vertical fields of plastered masonry. In the central one there is the portal with an architraved frame and a lunette decorated with a golden mosaic depicting San Mauro and the circular window above. In the lateral parts there are narrow single-lancet windows, larger at the top, smaller at the bottom. On the right side there is the brick bell tower with a pyramidal termination. The church has an apsidal hall plan with side altars. In the center of the nave there are two arches, one on each side, in which the altars are inserted. The nave is covered with a flat attic and a portion of a barrel vault on the presbytery; the apse is covered with a pavilion vault with three segments; the side altars are covered with portions of a barrel vault. The external covering is two-pitched with a mantle in Marseilles tiles. The internal decoration is essentially constituted by an order of Corinthian pilasters with frieze and decorations in stucco and gilding, fake coffers on the vaults and on the flat floor.
