V	Valerio Volpi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una vera tristezza... un santuario datato mille anni e rovinato da uno scellerato e ignorante restauro degli anni '60... si è persa completamente la struttura medioevale originaria ed i materiali utilizzati sanno di villetta residenziale tutta decorata in vomitevole porfido con uno "stile" anacronistico che grida vendetta. Il campanile poi, con un balconcino che ricorda un minareto mussulmano degno di Marrakesh... lo stile stucchevole del tutto, si potrebbe degnamente completare con un'allegoria in gesso dipinto di Biancaneve e i sette nani e magari qualche gnomo sotto il fungo! Risparmiatevi la visita... è bella solo da lontano. A real sadness ... a sanctuary dated one thousand years and ruined by a wicked and ignorant restoration of the '60s ... the original medieval structure has been completely lost and the materials used know of a residential house all decorated in vomitable porphyry with one " anachronistic style that cries out for revenge. Inizialmente fu un torrione difensivo e in seguito cappella e cimitero dei monaci . La vista è impareggiabile: da un lato montagne con il Resegone in prima linea, il paesello più sotto e poi boschi -castagni-robinie- pini ecc. Oltre che a essere un luogo di culto è un luogo che offre un sicuro relax, da un po' di tempo la domenica pomeriggio il Santuario è aperto al pubblico così che si può visitare il suo interno e anche salire sul campanile. This Sanctuary is located on the top of a hill, it enjoys a beautiful view so that in days of clear sky you can see the skyscrapers of Milan. In addition to being a place of worship it is a place that offers safe relaxation, for some time on Sunday afternoon the Sanctuary has been open to the public so that you can visit its interior and even climb the bell tower.

Posto frequentato di giorno, la sera in inverno non c’è quasi nessuno. Ci sono andato ieri e si vedeva limpidamente la torre UniCredit Visited from the outside. But it deserves a lot. In the evening, if clear, you can even see the skyline of Milan and you can see the lights of Malpensa. Popular place during the day, in the evening in winter there is hardly anyone. m	marco consonni on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella chiesina in cima ad una collina, bel panorama tutto intorno. Raggiungibile da un sentiero dal bosco o da una bella strada dal paese. All'interno ci sono degli affreschi e statue. Bello. Beautiful little church on top of a hill, beautiful view all around. Reachable from a forest path or from a beautiful road from the village. Inside there are frescoes and statues. Beautiful.

Raggiungibile sia a piedi, sia in bicicletta, sia in automobile (sconsigliato, sia perché il bello di raggiungere questi posto è la passeggiata che si fa per arrivarci, ma anche perché il parcheggio non è così semplice da trovare). Ottimo per bersi una birra in compagnia di amici o anche solo per fare una passeggiata con il proprio cane. Nelle giornate più limpide si vede anche lo Skyline di Milano! The best place in the Olgiate area to spend a relaxing afternoon! It can be reached on foot, by bicycle, or by car (not recommended, both because the beauty of reaching this place is the walk you take to get there, but also because parking is not so easy to find). Great for having a beer with friends or just for a walk with your dog. On clear days you can also see the Milan skyline!
