★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bel santuario dedicato alla Madonna della Neve, festeggiata il 5 di agosto. Forse il monumento distintivo di Cucciago, piccolo paese in provincia di Como. Fu iniziato nel 1733, ma sicuramente ha un’origine antica, essendo stato costruito su una chiesa preesistente. Opere di restauro si sono susseguite anche negli ultimi anni, con l’intento di riportare alla luce l’antica struttura della chiesa, simbolo dell’antichità della fede cristiana in queste zone.
Beautiful sanctuary dedicated to the Madonna della Neve, celebrated on August 5th. Perhaps the distinctive monument of Cucciago, a small town in the province of Como. It was begun in 1733, but it certainly has an ancient origin, having been built on a pre-existing church. Restoration works have also taken place in recent years, with the aim of bringing to light the ancient structure of the church, a symbol of the antiquity of the Christian faith in these areas.
