★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Usciti dalla chiesa di San Guglielmo, si percorre il lungo viale di via Madonna della Fametta e al termine e' situato il piccolo santuario. L'edificio e' costituito da una torre risalente al XVII secolo e nel 1808 fu costruita la piccola chiesina per volonta' del marchese Lodovico Busca. Il santuario e' meta di persone che visitano il parco delle Groane.
Sembra che il significato "Fametta" sia riferito al fatto che i contadini che avevano in conduzione le terre delle cascine limitrofe, non ricevessero abbastanza dai terreni poco fecondi per potersi sfamarsi decentemente, rimanendo con una certa "fametta" addosso.
Leaving the church of San Guglielmo, go along the long avenue of via Madonna della Fametta and at the end there is the small sanctuary. The building consists of a tower dating back to the seventeenth century and in 1808 the small church was built at the behest of the Marquis Lodovico Busca. The sanctuary is popular with people who visit the Groane park.
It seems that the meaning "Fametta" refers to the fact that the farmers who managed the lands of the neighboring farms, did not receive enough from the unfertilized land to be able to feed themselves decently, remaining with a certain "fametta" on them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uscendo da Villa Arconati, a Castellazzo, svoltando a destra e proseguendo sempre dritti, si arriva al Santuario della Madonna della Fametta. Qui trovate un corpo principale del seicento con una torre posteriore, probabilmente medievale, che faceva parte del sistema di fortificazione del Castellazzo. All'interno si possono vedere dei begli affreschi della Sacra Famiglia. Parlando con i volontari, che si occupano della sua cura, ho scoperto che è stata recuperata circa sei anni fa da uno stato di abbandono, si trova sotto la protezione delle Belle Arti ed è gestita dal sacerdote della chiesetta di S. Guglielmo sempre di Castellazzo, che si trova accanto alla villa Arconati. Il Santuario si trova all'interno del vasto parco delle Groane e merita una visita. Viene aperto tutti i sabati e le domeniche, l'ingresso è gratuito e la prima domenica di ogni mese viene celebrata la messa al suo esterno. Visitarla è una buona scelta.
