Unica pecca: mi dispiace che non ci siano più i banchi antichi che c'erano una volta.
Beautiful sanctuary, well maintained and with an attached museum.
The only flaw: I'm sorry that there are no longer the ancient benches that once were.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful chapel dedicated to Our Lady on the outskirts of Riese Pio X, which St Pius X visited often as a child. Originally a pagan temple, dedicated to the Roman goddess Diana, was located here. When the area was evangelised a chapel to Our Lady was built in its place. The current chapel, built in 1730 has a bright interior with a singe nave. Take time to study the baroque altar and the altar dedicated to St Pius X, in homage for permitting children to receive Holy Communion at a young age. If you have time, walk here from the village, rather than use the car, and enjoy the scenery!
