Un santuario importante per i modenesi che racchiude, oltre all’immagine miracolosa della Vergine (un dipinto ad olio su tavola di legno di autore ignoto, che risale – presumibilmente – al Seicento), anche (nella Sagrestia) una interessante raccolta di tavolette votive che vanno dalla fine del Settecento agli anni Quaranta del Novecento, testimonianza di fede e cultura popolare del luogo. L’edificio ha una pianta a forma di croce greca con cupoletta centrale. L’interno (un po’ buio) è stato decorato con gradevoli affreschi e stucchi (angeli inneggianti alla Vergine) a partire dal 1851; la decorazione è stata conclusa negli anni Trenta del Novecento e restaurata negli anni Novanta, quando tutta la chiesa è stata sottoposta a restauro. All’interno del Santuario si trovano anche due pregevolissimi altari in scagliola e marmi policromi risalenti al 1855. Small, but important for popular devotion; and artistically interesting A small church built around the middle of the eighteenth century, with a very simple facade: to visit it you have to look for it in the countryside of Campogalliano (about 1 km and a half from the center) in the direction of Rubiera. An important sanctuary for the people of Modena that contains, in addition to the miraculous image of the Virgin (an oil painting on a wooden panel by an unknown author, which dates back - presumably - to the seventeenth century), also (in the Sacristy) an interesting collection of votive tablets that they go from the end of the eighteenth century to the forties of the twentieth century, testimony of faith and popular culture of the place. The building has a Greek cross-shaped plan with a central dome. The interior (a little dark) has been decorated with pleasant frescoes and stuccos (angels praising the Virgin) since 1851; the decoration was completed in the thirties of the twentieth century and restored in the nineties, when the whole church was subjected to restoration. Inside the Sanctuary there are also two very valuable scagliola and polychrome marble altars dating back to 1855.
