★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È una chiesa molto antica da visitare adiacente alla frazione di Castelvecchio di Massa Martana in un area adibita in passato ad un circolo ricreativo e durante la Quaresima si giocava su di un percorso al "ruzzollone". Nei tempi passati per la festa di S.Ippolito e per la Pasqua arrivavano le processioni da Massa , S.Terenziano e Viepri quando ancora era in uso questa devozione e si celebrava messa e c'era la festa paesana .Bei ricordi !
 It is a very old church to visit adjacent to the village of Castelvecchio di Massa Martana in an area used in the past to a recreational club and during Lent it was played on a path to the "ruzzollone". In the old days for the feast of St. Hippolytus and for Easter the processions arrived from Massa, S. Terenziano and Viepri when this devotion was still used and mass was celebrated and there was the village festival.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ E' un oratorio attestato già nel 1200 quando era utilizzato dagli abitanti del borgo fortificato di Castelvecchio.
E' costruito in semplice ma elegante stile romanico con facciata a capanna, aula unica, tetto a capriate ed abside semicircolare correttamente orientato a levante. Proprio il particolare aspetto estetico dell'abside (senza le solite lesene ed archetti pensili) conferisce alla chiesa una certa unicità.
Il sant'Ippolito decadde dopo la distruzione di Castelvecchio ed anche oggi non si presenta in splendide condizioni visto che è quasi inglobata nell'aia di un'azienda agricola.
It is an oratory already attested in 1200 when it was used by the inhabitants of the fortified village of Castelvecchio.
It is built in a simple but elegant Romanesque style with a gabled façade, a single hall, a trussed roof and a semicircular apse correctly oriented to the east. The particular aesthetic aspect of the apse (without the usual pilasters and hanging arches) gives the church a certain uniqueness.
The Saint Hippolytus decayed after the destruction of Castelvecchio and even today does not present itself in splendid conditions as it is almost incorporated into the farmyard of a farm.
