A star because the positioning of Google Maps is wrong, to get there you have to indicate Fivizzano on the navigator, and select the "health district" on the map.

The hospital has always been indispensable for the whole Lunigiana. There have been very good doctors, but over time they have chosen other paths. Unfortunately, many departments have been merged and the reduction in beds has been strong. We hope that there is a fight to keep it active and enhance it because closing it would be a really problematic and unacceptable choice for the entire population. There are professional and friendly people who work there!

Buona giornata.
I paid 38 euros for a gastroscopy with light sedation and I forgot the sedation… maybe. It was a real nightmare. No sedation ... I left without speaking in shock ... I was expecting something different. It took me two hours to recover .. the thing itself lasts a few minutes, but it seemed like an eternity because I was expecting a different treatment. The very kind nursing staff, but the hallucinating and empathetic performance from the doctor who, all the time, talked about his business instead of paying a minimum of attention and communication with me, who was suffering from a persistent cough, even during surgery. I will never set foot in this facility again. Good day.

Molto professionali dall''accettazione in su .

Vicino all'entrata abbiamo trovato una bella cappella ben tenuta. Ci sono distributori di cibi e bevande
We went to the radiology department for an exam and the nurses were courteous. Little waiting Outdoor parking is free. If you are not in the area it remains a long journey. Near the entrance we found a beautiful well kept chapel. There are food and drink dispensers

Terrible. I have hospital phobia now. In single room though partner stayed was like prison cell. Staff not knowing English, i don’t know Italian didnt attempt to explain anything,, husband speaks Italian. Just did things to you like you were a rat in. A lab. Post op pain killer first day thereafter none was offered atall, i had to use paracetamol. Was made to walk with walker which was ok but then told to sit i. Chair ney ordered by unpleasant nurse when feeling weak and faint. I said no and didnt. Had a lot of trouble getting medication like vallium for bad anxiety attacks. Couldnt wait to get out. They took my jewellery and havent given it back. A few nurses were nice, others I think were raceist. I was shocked to be told to go into physio for 14 days, like inviting me to hell. I came home fainting on our steps. Wasnot supplied with any pain killer. I think that having been told they do one cut which was about eight maybe more inches long they do a massive one, also they claim to hardly cut muscle and they definitely do cut muscle. Muscle takes eight weeks to heal and they try and make people walk straight away, its barbaric and unecassary. after a month of pain and weakness I can now make it to our toilet with crutches and only some stiffness. People do not need to be made to walk straight away. Most of the post limitations they tell you to adhere to are rubbish and have patients worried to death about dislocating. I am traumatised, can hardly face my own gp to get stitches out. I would sue the hospital if I could, and I want my jewellery back otherwise its theft.
