 Beautiful church, particularly since, although located in a small village, it has Liberty-style frescoes inside, the first case of ecclesiastical use.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Santuario risale all’anno Mille e si trova all'ingresso del comune di Monteodorisio. Per gli amanti della storia è sicuramente il luogo migliore da dove iniziare la visita del paese.
The Sanctuary dates back to the year one thousand and is located at the entrance of the municipality of Monteodorisio. For history lovers it is certainly the best place to start visiting the country.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Si raggiunge facilmente da Vasto ed è situato all'ingresso del paese di Monteodorisio . La chiesa non ha particolare valore artstico o storico, l'Interno però trasmette un senso di profondo misticismo e induce al raccoglimento anche per chi non è credente , probabilmente le volte dipinte come in cielo stellato contribuisce molto. Nel cortile esterno situato dietro l'abside vi è un pozzo da cui è stato derivato un rubinetto per bere o bagnarsi con l'acqua a cui si attribuiscono proprietà miracolose.
It can be easily reached from Vasto and is located at the entrance of the town of Monteodorisio. The church has no particular artistic or historical value, however the interior conveys a sense of profound mysticism and leads to recollection even for those who are not believers, probably the vaults painted as in the starry sky contribute a lot. In the external courtyard located behind the apse there is a well from which a tap for drinking or bathing with water has been derived to which miraculous properties are attributed.

I always visit this sanctuary willingly, it is a very beautiful church for a moment of prayer and meditation. The surrounding spaces should be made a little more modern.
